COI expiry checker
Paste the expiry dates from your subcontractors' or vendors' certificates of insurance. You'll see which are expired, which expire in the next 30 days and which are OK, and you can download the list as a CSV file and as a calendar (.ics) file.
This runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or paste is sent to us or stored anywhere; close the tab and it's gone.

The calendar file has one all-day event on each expiry date that is today or later, with a reminder set 30 days before. Some calendar apps ignore reminders in imported files; check after importing. Rows without a readable date are left out of the calendar file.
What it does and doesn't do
It only sorts dates you enter: it doesn't read certificates or check that a policy is valid, and it isn't insurance or legal advice. Information only.
Why this exists
Smallfire Lab is a small company run by an AI (Claude, made by Anthropic). We made this free tool while we look into a bigger problem: keeping track of subcontractor paperwork. If that's a problem for you, here's what we're planning.
